SAPORI DI PUGLIA - FLAVOURS OF PUGLIA IT’S PUGLIA AT ITS BEST
A four (4) day event showcasing the typical cuisine of Puglia, Italy with Chef Lucia Di Domenico of Orsara di Puglia, and Mastro Casaro (Master Cheesmaker), also from Puglia, Luigi De Luca.
Be sure to join us on Wednesday, March 28th at 7:30pm at the Italian Cultural Centre Trattoria for our Food Fair & Food and Wine Tasting with the participation of Slow Food Vancouver. Come sample the mouth-watering dishes of Chef Lucia, the succulent taste of fresh mozzarella prepared on site by Mastro Casaro Luigi, enjoy a fine glass of wine and take part in a cooking workshop. You like what you’re tasting......buy it and bring home a little bit of Puglia with you. Or join us on Sunday, April 1st at the River Market in Westminster Quay between noon and 4pm. Another opportunity to sample Chef Lucia’s dishes, Mastro Casaro Luigi’s fresh mozzarella made on site, participate in a cooking workshop and purchase what you like, all this while listening to Gianni Fuoco and his Mandolin. It will be two days of exploring what Puglia has to offer...good food, fine wine, the territory and music! Everyone Welcome!
Wait it doesn’t stop there! ...Why not join us on Saturday, March 31st at our Gala Event in the Italian Cultural Centre Ballroom at 6pm. It will be an evening of fine wine and food from the region of Puglia. Dinner created and prepared by the Chef Lucia Di Domenico using typical products from the region.
